The modern garden, which was created within shelter belts planted 200 years ago, is constantly evolving with new ideas and fresh plantings meaning that it offers a rewarding experience to returning visitors and newcomers alike.

With a large selection of unusual shade and sun-loving plants on display and plenty of riverside woodland walks to undertake, Trelissick offers a relaxing day out for the whole family.

During the summer the sheltered garden offers a perfect spot for picnics, while the Barn restaurant offers up fantastic Sunday lunch.

The Eden Project is an attraction quite unlike any other. Set in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit near St Austell, the family favourite features two huge artificial biomes that house thousands of plant species from around the world. The two structures recreate a tropical and Mediterranean environment respectively.

Boasting the world’s largest rainforest in captivity the Eden Project is a jaw-dropping attraction that transports visitors to another world.

With outstanding sculptures and other pieces of art places amongst steamy jungles and waterfalls, there’s plenty to see for people of all interests. Along with the stunning gardens, the Eden Project also plays host to a variety of events including music concerts, art exhibitions and workshops.
